St. Charles County Makerspace Has Offer for Displaced TechShop Members

St. Peters, Missouri – “TechShop’s community of makers was an inspiration to all makerspaces and we hope to learn from their example as we continue to grow our makerspace in St. Charles County,” stated George Fetters, President of the Board of Directors for Inventor Forge Makerspace located in St. Peters, Missouri.
Inventor Forge Makerspace (IFMS) is offering all current TechShop members an opportunity to continue their projects at IFMS space located at the EDC Business and Community Partners Incubator at 5988 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO for $10 per week through the end of 2017. Those interested will need to bring their equipment training certification that they received from TechShop. If they do not have an equipment training certification, Inventor Forge will provide training at no cost. IFMS will have an open house, Thursday November 16th at 6:00pm and all are invited to attend.
Members have access to a 100W Laser Cutter, 770 Tormach CNC Mill, seven (7) 3D printers, various wood and metal working equipment, small tools, free classes and 24 hour/7 day a week access to the space.

Inventor Forge Makers Space is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting an interest and furthering knowledge in STEM/STEAM activities within the community. IFMS conducts a series of free classes and open houses in their idea lab and creation space in St. Peters, Missouri.
