What Is Inventor Forge

We are a Non-Profit group of Makers, Inventors, Artists and Free Thinkers in the St. Charles area.  We have been actively supporting STEAM (Science -Technology - Engineering - Arts - Math) initiatives for over 10 years.
Inventor Forge Makerspace serves as a creative idea lab and creation space for any age. Our makerspace provides access to tools and project work-space for members, machine and tool training, and facilitates an open forum for the exchange of ideas among members
Inventor Forge is always looking for new members who are interested in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) or who just need a place to do a project.
Inventor Forge is a membership based shared space where hobbyists, professionals, novices, and all of those in-between can come to imagine and create both individually and together. From wood working to laser cutting, programming electronics to 3D-Printing, Inventor Forge gives you the ability to access the machines, tools, and knowledge you need to allow your inner creator to come out and play.

Since the purpose of this space is to encourage free thinking and promote interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), we encourage the sharing of knowledge and working together to educate one another through positive interactions and community mindset. Inventor Forge is an inviting space that is proud to welcome people of all levels of experience.

Meet The Mother Board

Our Board Members are a group of dedicated volunteers tasked with the responsibility to ensure the maker space runs smoothly and stays focused on its mission.

Our Board Members handle the big-picture decisions — like setting goals, managing finances, managing membership drives and fundraising activities, and planning for the future.

With the help of our Tool Champions and other volunteers they also help run the day to day operations, and look out for the best interests of our members and the community.

In short, our Board helps keep Inventor Forge healthy, safe, and here for the long term.
