Customize your own
Beginners telescope for under $100
Buy the optics (113 mm primary mirror, elliptical diagonal, eyepiece) from Amazon. Use our construction files and 3D printers to 3D print the parts for the optical tube assembly (OTA). Buy a box of screws and nuts from Menards (Home Depot, Lowe's) and three 1/2 inch alluminum rods from Metals Superstore and assemble the OTA with a screw driver.
Buy a 2x4 foot sheet of 1/2 inch MDF from Menards (Home Depot, Lowe's) and use our CNC router and plans to create the telescope base. A few dabs of glue and a spritz or two of paint and you are done!
